Cosmetics
Cosmetics change how you look and nothing else. Not one of them touches a stat, a drop rate or an experience gain, and none of them can be traded — a frame is a flag on your character rather than an item in your bag, so there is nothing to list and nothing to sell.
Portrait frames
The ring around your portrait. Everyone starts with Bronze Ring, and you may switch to any you have unlocked at any time.
| Frame | How to get it |
|---|---|
| No Frame
The face alone — no ring at all. |
Available from the start |
| Bronze Ring
The ring every gladiator wears onto the sand. |
Available from the start |
| Laurel Wreath
Woven for those who lasted twenty levels. |
Reach level 20 |
| Iron Band
Beaten from a blade that broke in the arena. |
Reach level 35 |
| Gilded Ring
Only the Ascended wear gold. |
Reach level 50 |
| Frontier Circlet
Iron and electrum twisted past the cold sea — the frontier outranks gold. |
Reach level 65 |
The level frames unlock from your level alone — there is nothing to claim and nothing to buy. Reaching the level is the whole requirement.
Arena frames
Bought with Laurels at the House of Laurels. The price is the same in every tier — a frame is bought once, so there is no run of duels for the scaling to keep even.
| Frame | How to get it |
|---|---|
| Corona Palmata
Gold palm fronds on Tyrian purple — the dress of a triumph, worn as a ring. |
2,000 Laurels at the House of Laurels |
War frames
These two are not on the level ladder. They are bought with Valor at the Guild Shop, which means the only way to wear one is to have fought in a guild war.
| Frame | How to get it |
|---|---|
| Vexillum Standard
Carried at the head of the guild line. |
Bought with Valor at the Guild Shop |
| Corona Castrensis
The rampart crown, for the first over the wall. |
Bought with Valor at the Guild Shop |
| Crown of Triumph
Awarded on the day the war was won. |
Bought with Valor at the Guild Shop |
Achievement frames
These unlock from your achievement point total — the whole catalogue counts, not one particular feat.
| Frame | How to get it |
|---|---|
| Corona Civica
Oak for the one who saved a citizen — 500 achievement points. |
Earn 500 achievement points |
| Corona Aurea
The gold crown of the games — 1,500 achievement points. |
Earn 1,500 achievement points |
The seam's frame
Bought with tesserae at the Tessera Emporium. Tesserae are struck only by Laborum shifts, so the only way to wear this ring is to have worked for it.
| Frame | How to get it |
|---|---|
| Corona Fabrilis
Iron and bronze, hammer and tongs — the crown of the one who made things. |
Bought for 1,500 Tesserae at the Tessera Emporium |
The patron's arch
The only ring that is held rather than owned: it is worn while a Patron's Seal is warm and sets itself aside when the seal ends. Press another seal and it returns.
| Frame | How to get it |
|---|---|
| Patron's Arch
Porphyry and gold for the realm's patrons — held while the seal is warm. |
Worn while your Patron's Seal is active |
Portraits
Your character's face is chosen when you create the character and can be changed afterwards. The starting faces are yours from the beginning and are not listed here; what follows is everything beyond them.
| Portrait | How to get it |
|---|---|
| Free Blade
A hardened human champion of the sand. |
150 Aurei |
| Kobalos
A green-skinned trickster of Dionysus. |
250 Aurei |
| Cyclops
One-eyed forge-born, sooted in bronze. |
250 Aurei |
| Minotaur
The labyrinth’s horned champion. |
250 Aurei |
| Satyr
A horned reveller of Faunus. |
250 Aurei |
| Gorgo
Serpent-haired and deadly. |
250 Aurei |
| Draconarius
Bearer of the dragon standard. |
Defeat Ladon, the world boss |
| Vexillarius
The standard-bearer who never yielded the line. |
Won with Valor · Guild Shop |
| Munerarius
The giver of games, laurelled in the purple. |
Granted with your first Patron's Seal |
Two of these cannot be bought at any price. Draconarius is won from a Ladon kill — that page has the exact chance and the effort bar you must clear to be in the draw — and Vexillarius is sold only for Valor at the Guild Shop. Aurei do not open either one.
Cosmetics are stored as flags on your character, not as inventory, which is why they survive everything: they cannot be lost to a full bag, sold by accident or taken in the Arena.
