Guilds
A guild is a name, a tag and a crest shared by up to 20 gladiators, with a private chat channel, a gold bank and a shared gear stash. Found one from level 10 for 10,000 gold (or Aurei); join one from level 5.
Joining
Guilds set their own door policy: Open joins instantly, By application needs an officer's approval, and Invite only cannot be applied to. Your guild tag then shows beside your name everywhere, including the leaderboards.
Honor is the sum of the members' arena ratings — it is what ranks guilds against each other, so recruiting duellists matters more than recruiting bodies.
Size
A new guild holds 10 members. Slots are bought 2 at a time for 30,000 gold from the bank, up to the hard cap of 20.
Ranks
| Rank | Can |
|---|---|
| Leader | Everything an officer can, plus: withdraw gold, promote and demote, transfer leadership, edit settings, disband |
| Officer | Invite, approve and kick members, edit the MOTD, hand out stash items, buy tabs, activate buffs |
| Member | Donate gold, deposit gear into the stash, leave |
Bank and stash
- Gold bank. Any member donates; only the leader withdraws, and no more than 50,000 in a rolling 24 hours.
- Gear stash. 20 slots per tab, up to 5 tabs. Members deposit, officers hand out. Extra tabs are bought from the bank starting at 25,000 gold, and each one costs more than the last.
Buffs
An officer or the leader can light a guild-wide buff, paid from the bank. Each lasts 8 hours and covers every member.
| Buff | Effect | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| War Banner | +2 hit / +2 crit / +2 flat damage — PvE only | 20,000 gold |
| Guild Focus | +25 % profession skill XP | 15,000 gold |
| Efficient Craft | −1 PE per profession action (floor 1) | 15,000 gold |
