Armour Sets

Wear 2 armour pieces of the same class and you earn the first set bonus; wear all 4 and you earn the second as well. Nothing needs to be equipped in a particular order and nothing needs activating — the game counts the armour class of what you are wearing and applies the result.

The armour values are identical across the three classes and always have been. What a class changes is which stats its affixes favour and what its set gives back.

The three sets

Set2 pieces4 pieces
Vestments of the Sibyl
cloth armour
Woven for those who strike with a word: first the eye that finds the flaw, then the rite that bites deeper.
+3% critical chance +3% damage
Skirmisher's Guise
leather armour
Cut for the flank: a keener eye, then blades that find the gaps in plate.
+3% critical chance Ignores a further 6% of enemy armor
Bulwark of the Legion
heavy armour
The line holds because it was built to: every blow that lands, lands lighter.
-2% damage taken -2% damage taken

The three are deliberately worth about the same. Each simply suits a different way of fighting, so the right set is the one that matches your build rather than the one with the biggest number.

Which pieces count

Any armour of the right class counts, whatever its rarity, item level or where it came from. A 4-piece set can mix a drop, a crafted piece and a shop purchase freely.
