Sagas
Sagas are fixed quest chains: a sequence of steps done in order, once per character. Unlike the rolling daily and weekly quests they are never drawn, never rerolled and never expire — a saga waits at whatever step you left it.
How sagas work
- Only the current step makes progress. Kills, gathers and wins count for it the moment they happen, from the same server-side events that pay experience.
- Each step is claimed on its own and pays its own reward; the final step also pays the saga's finishing reward.
- Rewards are fixed amounts rather than level-scaled — a saga is a milestone, not an income.
Two longer chains share this engine but live elsewhere: every profession opens with a short introduction chain of its own, and the story campaign — The Long Road — runs the length of the zone ladder.
