Training
Training raises one of your seven base attributes by one point for gold. Equipment bonuses do not count as trained values and do not affect either the price or the stat cap.
Free points and paid training
A new character begins with 5 free points and gains 1 more on each level-up. Spend free points on the Character Sheet. They do not raise the price of later Training sessions.
The first point bought with gold costs 47 gold. After that, the next price depends only on how many points you have already bought in that particular attribute — not on free points, level-up points or gear. This makes allocating and training safe in either order.
| Paid points already in this stat | Next point costs |
|---|---|
| 0 | 47 gold |
| 1 | 64 gold |
| 5 | 160 gold |
| 10 | 347 gold |
| 15 | 610 gold |
Cap and availability
Each trained attribute is capped at 5 + 3 × your level. The server checks your unmodified trained value, so an item bonus cannot prevent a legal session or push a trained stat past the cap.
You cannot train a stat while a paid work shift or profession apprenticeship shift is active. Collect a completed shift before Training reopens.
Changing your build
Respec returns level-derived points for redistribution and handles gold-trained points under its own refund rules. Read that section before buying a long run of points merely to test another build.
