What the furnace could not use. It turned out to be the harder half.

How to get it
It does not drop. The only way to own one is to forge it yourself, and that takes three separate keys:
- Smithing skill 90 — trained.
- Weapon mastery rank 5 with the mace — earned by fighting with that weapon. See Weapon Mastery.
- Pattern: Slagmaul — this one you cannot train. It drops from a boss, and it arrives already aimed at what you are carrying.
What comes out is guaranteed legendary or better at item level 50, and bound on craft — it can never be sold, listed or traded.
